OFFICIAL DESCRIPTION FROM THE CONFERENCE FORUM

In Anticipation of the Final Rule & Other Medicaid Rebate Concerns

The Conference Forum, recognized in the pharmaceutical industry for its interactive-style meetings, announced a new conference to navigate the complexities of the Medicaid Rebate process. The Medicaid Rebate Summit brings manufacturers together with State Medicaid and Pharmacy leaders to work through the interpretation of the anticipated Final Rule, the larger implications of health care reform and its financial and operational impact as well as resolutions for disputes.

Alice Valder Curran of Hogan Lovells opens the program with remarks on interpreting the Final Rule – a “hot” topic for 2013. The 2013 Medicaid Rebate Summit fosters relationships between drug manufactures and state agencies in order to better serve the Medicaid population. Attendees will:
  • Hear pertinent Health Care Association insights on health care reform and POVs from Managed Markets, Government Contracting, Pricing and Reimbursement, States and Consultants.
  • Participate in a Q&A with CMS representation lead by LaDonna Steiner of Purdue Pharma.
The conference has two track choices to allow individual event customization.
  • Track One, chaired by Heather Dixson, Director Government Price Reporting, Eli Lilly & Co will address interpretation and implementation of the Final Rule.
  • Track Two, chaired by Ed McAdam, Senior Director, Pricing & Analytics, Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. will focus on 340B, Government Pricing and Reimbursement.
